Projects We're Proud Of

Education & Healthcare

Albion Hall

Pocatello, ID

Square & Plumb

BLUD completed renovation framing at Idaho State University’s Albion Hall, working within an existing campus building while maintaining safety and separation from occupied areas. The scope included selective demolition, new wood framing, and the installation of temporary dustcontrol barriers to support ongoing building use during construction. This project highlights BLUD’s ability to execute precise renovation work in active environments with careful attention to sequencing, containment, and coordination.

Hospitality & Entertainment

Alpine Hotel

Alpine, WY

Square & Plumb

This is a two-story lodge-style modular hospitality project, BLU-D delivered the trusses and roof sheathing scope. Roof trusses and large roof sections were preconstructed at grade, then craneset and precisely placed atop the modular hotel units using coordinated rigging operations. This approach supported accurate installation, efficient sequencing, and tight integration with the modular construction system, demonstrating BLU-D’s ability to execute specialized framing packages on logistically complex projects.

Work & Commerce

America First Credit Union (AFCU)

Rexburg, ID

Square & Plumb

BLUD delivered the wood framing that defines the project’s most distinctive architectural feature: a curved arc that crowns the building’s upper volume. Constructed from carefully spaced vertical framing members, the arc introduces softness and movement while providing a striking contrast to the steel structure below, requiring precise layout and coordination. This expressive wood framing showcases BLUD’s precision, craftsmanship, and ability to execute complex architectural forms.

Education & Healthcare

Grand Peaks

Ammon, ID

Square & Plumb

BLUD completed the wood framing scope for the Grand Peaks medical facility, a multistory project featuring extensive wall framing, elevated floor systems, and coordinated roof framing integrated with a structural steel frame. The work required precise layout at multiple elevations, careful detailing around large openings, and close coordination with steel and slab interfaces. BLUD delivered a clean, accurate framing package that established a reliable framework for the facility’s complex medical buildout.

Community & Public

IDOC Re-entry Center

Pocatello, ID

Square & Plumb

BLUD provided comprehensive wood framing for the Idaho Department of Corrections ReEntry project, delivering a largescale, multiwing facility with complex roof framing and interior layouts. Through efficient sequencing, disciplined crew coordination, and a strong focus on production, BLUD completed the framing scope nearly a month ahead of schedule. This early delivery supported downstream trades and reinforced BLUD’s reputation for reliable performance on scheduledriven, institutional projects.

Good environment to be in wherever we are. (It’s nice to) always have someone that is willing to teach you anything you don’t know. You can ask questions without getting any backlash.
